I am Constantinos Menelaou and I am a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Frederic Dias and co-supervision of Professor Daniel Toal, funded by MaREI. I’m part of the Wave Group at University College Dublin, School of Mathematics and Statistics.
Originally from Limassol, Cyprus I moved to Greece where I graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an integrated Master on fluid mechanics and aerodynamics.
Currently I am studying the effect of wave-breaking on boulder motion at the seabed, numerically and experimentally. My research interests include fluid mechanics, numerical simulations and supersonic aerodynamics, in particular Waveriders. Additionally, I am a programming enthusiast.
